  • Tanjung Pinang fishing 24th-26th March 2012

    Just sharing the catches for the recent trip on board Wisata I.
    1st night hit on Bulat feeding frenzy with a total of 54 landed..3 big stingray was also landed on the same night; 18kg, 24kg and a 35kg leopard ray with a suicidal mackeral jumping on board( lucky no one was around the area). A lot of hit and misses with 2 mackerals on apollo escape near the surface..
    2nd day trolling resulted in 3 spanish mackerals with the biggest 6.5kg. Night action saw snappers, bulats, cobias, barras and others... hope u enjoy the pictures guys...thanks.

                  Bet the bulat gave you guys a hard time fighting .... one after another. I would recommend first timer for overseas fishing to try TP. It seems the waters condition there is less harsh than SCS or elsewhere and Capt kadri will take you to bulat spot for "poison" induction .... lolz

                      Yes indeed bro.. the bulats did gave a hard time especially when in twos.. a good workout for us..
