This morning I saw rubbish everywhere! a bucket, a fish trap, colourful plastic bags, food and drink contianers, plastic bottles and cups, drink cans in along the water bank. There are also bread plastic bags left on trees and on the ground. I cannot say all these were left behind by the baiters as I never see one littering myself. But if this is to go on, sooner or later the authorities with stop all fishing activities over there (be it baiter or lurer).

I would rather the NEA officers come and fine those litter bugs than PUB/NPARK officers catching people fishing with live baits.

It happen everywhere!! that's wht when NEA catches you these days there is "NO FINE" you go to court straight away !! so be mindful when fishing always throw your rubbish where it belongs..

this is also happening in Punggol new board walk, there are fishing lines, fishing tackle packaging, left over baits, and what's worst is left over hooks!!

It will be very sad if the authority leave a "no Fishing " sign there!!

i went PP the 2 weeks ago and i saw the same thing... and the water starts to smell...
?Opportunities, many times, are so small that we glimpse them not and yet they are often the seeds of great enterprises. Opportunities are also everywhere and so you must always let your hook be hanging. When you least expect it, a great fish will swim by.?

It is getting from bad to worse. I even saw an uncle digging for earthworms along the banks, you can spot those overturned grass patches along the banks easily, what a mess he has left behind. Too many inconsiderate anglers over there. I was thinking of helping by clearing some of the rubbish from the water, but worry the park goers mistaken me as a litter bug under CWO.

If these kind of uncivil activities carry on, it would not be long to have the whole PP closed to fishing.

Now they even dump a whole bicycle into the pond. Really inconsiderate.
